Deb
Fahey

Managing Director

There are some people in life who seem content to settle for hundreds of luminous spheres. Others strive for nothing less than thousands. That’s Deb – never accepting less then the best. After working for McCann Erikson, Deb created Fahey Consulting in the late eighties to fill the gap of quality branding in the local market. Since then her marketing, public relations and sponsorship strategies (combined with advertising expertise and precious industry experience) have left our clients with a natural glow of satisfaction.

Craig
Brown

Creative Director

Craig’s life is lived designery. Yes, that’s not a real word. But, as his skill often delivers beyond what’s thought possible, it seemed apt. After a stint in London Craig brought his red pen of justice to Novo, and has recently become a shareholder in the company. Now, besides throwing paper and annoying the other creatives, he crafts campaigns that are bold, unique and creative. His taste is impeccable – except when it comes to music. So by all means entrust him to your brand’s concept and design. Just don’t get him to DJ the office party.

Sarah
Astor

Business Manager

Apparently it doesn’t grow on trees. It’s a good thing our financial mastermind is thorough, principled and utterly skilled at her money-managing job. With a prestigious globe-spanning career Sarah knows a thing or two about checks and balances. Her current governance roles include Chair for the Met Service and Director of Christchurch City Holdings, Novo, Selwyn Plantation Board and as Trustee for Church Property Trustees and several other charitable trusts. It’s this experience and her consummate abilities that deliver security for our clients and opportunity for Novo.

Stephen
Dalley

Creative

Plato. Da Vinci. Shakespeare. Enstieen. The world has been blessed with some incredible thinkers – and Stephen knows how to spell all their names (except, occasionally, Einstein). After starting agency life writing in Wellington he shifted down to Novo four years ago and has been busy working here ever since. While struggling to write about himself in the third person I am pretty good at creatively positioning the big, engaging ideas and messages across a range of media-forms.

Amy
Douglas

Creative

Amy’s prodigious design skills have proved the perfect match for Novo’s clients, including the yearly re-brand of NZSki. When asked to describe herself Amy said one word. Magical. While no hard proof exists it’s safe to assume this as fact. That’s because she can pull a coin from your ear (your ear!), arrives at work on a unicorn and, importantly for us, magically transforms heavy workloads and tight deadlines into beautifully designed masterpieces. Take that, Copperfield.

Kylie
Sandoe

Creative

With an impressive nine years' experience in advertising design Kylie’s work approach is simple – talk softly and carry a big tick (of approval). In a deadline-driven industry, clients often require quick, quality work (which is a sometimes-stressful combination). Luckily for us, Kylie’s considerable skill and diligent approach to every task is all contained behind an incredibly infectious laugh. Not infectious like a zombie mind you. More like a gentle mass hysteria, where everybody is just really, really happy.

Katy
Clook

Creative

Our self-described “hedonistic, coffee-swilling, curry-eating Brit” excels in both pithy conversation and brand elevation. For the latter, Katy’s consummate strategic skill has delivered client acclaim and awards aplenty for three prominent Christchurch ad agencies. For the former, give us a call. She’ll talk your ear off, get your culture down, write the company up and send your bottom line above and beyond. That’s Katy in a nutshell – she’s a miss-nothing, do-everything all-star.
