Waterwise Case Study:
-
Novo and the Christchurch City Council have a long-standing relationship covering many varied projects over recent years. Now in its third year, the Waterwise initiative continues to remind the good people of the land of the importance of conserving our lovely pristine water. This campaign is also a fine example of the fact that you can create an engaging and effective delivery of a serious message by wrapping it in an entertaining format. We give thanks daily for being blessed with lovely clients who get it.
Divided into two parts, the first part of the campaign runs across billboards, bus-backs and newspaper, and features a series of four semi-humorous situations supported by the proposition, âItâs not the same without waterâ. Part II consists of street posters, bill-stickers and online banners that offer several water-saving tips, the joy of rapier wit, and a strong typographic approach for high visual impact.

Duchenne Case Study:
-
Formally JBs Dental, Duchenne Dental recognised the need for a new name and compelling creative platform to help bring their brand to life, refect their core values, retain market share and take business to an all-singing and all-dancing new level.
Since it would be fair to say that the object of the dental industryâs exercise is to achieve mouthfuls of sparkling pearly whites and a sea of confident smiles, for inspiration we turned to the fascinating work of acclaimed French neurologist Guillaume-Benjamin Duchenne (pronounced Doo-shen). Duchenneâs research into muscular electrophysiology determined that smiles resulting from true happiness not only utilise the muscles of the mouth but also those of the eyes. Such genuine smiles are therefore known as Duchenne smiles, and hence the resulting logo and brand collateral is informed by a truly happy smile.

Enable Networks Case Study:
-
All over Christchurch and Canterbury, Enable Networks are currently installing fibre optic broadband networks that are delivering accessibility literally at the speed of light, and providing vastly improved service for thousands of network users, all now sighing with collective relief.
For Enableâs rebrand from their origins as Christchurch City Networks, Novo used this proposition to build an entire creative communications suite that is robust, exciting and intensely energetic. Head cocked, jaw set and eyebrow raised, Enableâs branding makes an emphatic statement of their position at the forefront of Dark Fibre technology.
